Our specialty is attic fire suppression and confined space fire systems, including the innovative A-FAST nozzle, which makes your work easier and safer.

Attic fires, concealed space fires, and fires in balloon frame construction pose significant dangers, leading to more work for firefighters than ever before! The innovative A-FAST nozzle is designed to enhance attic fire suppression efforts, reducing both work time and energy expenditure while increasing the safety of your firefighting team. The A-FAST system simplifies the application of water or water/foam mixtures to attics and concealed spaces. Its specially designed applicator nozzles project a high volume of water in a 360-degree horizontal pattern from the tip, making it an essential component of confined space fire systems.
The A-FAST nozzle is designed to easily attach to any 1-1/2 inch fire hose thread and your own valve unit. The machined brass nozzle head allows firefighters to efficiently push the unit through most drywall ceilings during attic fire suppression efforts. Since it is NOT a piercing nozzle, alternative materials will need to be accessed using a pike or “New York” hook before utilizing the A-FAST nozzle and pipe unit. We have successfully penetrated a standard 1/2-inch drywall ceiling or window pane. This unit has also proven effective for vehicle fire applications in both passenger compartments and engine compartments, making it ideal for various confined space fire systems.
Recent testing indicates that the A-FAST nozzle system flows approximately 200 gallons per minute, with a 360-degree circumference and a reach of 30 feet from the nozzle. This test was conducted using 200 feet of 1-3/4″ hose line at 180 PSI engine pressure.
Here is a video showcasing a training exercise where the A-FAST nozzle was deployed during an attic fire suppression operation > CLICK.
While the A-FAST system is primarily designed for confined space fire systems, it can also be effectively utilized from the exterior. In this video, firefighters successfully tackle a fully involved garage fire from outside, minimizing disruption to the atmosphere within the remaining structure, a benefit that traditional fog nozzles may not provide. This approach allows firefighters to safely breach the garage door and conduct a safer interior attack. See the video HERE.
The A-FAST nozzle systems are versatile and can effectively tackle a variety of fire scenarios, including vehicle fires (like EVs with the new A-FAST 10), semi-trailer fires, hay bale fires, dumpster fires, trash pile fires, and even attic fire suppression or confined space fire systems — or anything else your imagination conjures.
The A-FAST nozzle 10 is the newest addition to our nozzle systems, designed specifically for effective attic fire suppression and confined space fire systems. This unit will easily slide under the vehicle or into any small space, applying 80 to 100 gpm (depending on incoming pressure) to the nozzle and distributing water in a 180-degree fan pattern. Mounting on your apparatus can be achieved in several ways. Depending on your method of deployment, you may pre-connect your A-FAST nozzle on a crosslay, speedlay, or hosebed lay.
